»Barbara« von Christian Petzold mit einer großartigen Nina Hoss. Ein leiser, zurückhaltender Film, der sich Zeit nimmt für die Geschichte einer Ärztin in der DDR, die von der Charité und Berlin in ein kleines Krankenhaus tief in der Provinz »versetzt« wird, weil sie einen Ausreiseantrag gestellt hat. Packend und berührend erzählt.

I highly recommend »Barbara« - not only for those who want to immerse in the vanished world of the German Democratic Republic. A quiet, restrained but moving story - slowly told and carefully elaborated.
